Can I earn educational credit by participating in a trip with East Coast EdVentures?

No, but East Coast EdVentures has partnered with MassBay Community College, located in Wellesley, Massachusetts, which allows you to earn 3 educational credits. To earn educational credit, register for the class, “Journey Through North America.” There are several sessions of the class offered during the fall, spring and summer semesters. The tuition you pay to MassBay covers both the cost of the classroom instruction and the learning laboratory. This class is ideal for au pairs residing in the Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire areas who need to complete the educational requirement component of the au pair program.

If you are an au pair in the New York or Connecticut area, you can earn 3 educational credits by registering for the class, “Journey Through North America,” offered at Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY. After you register with Manhattanville College, you will be directed to submit a registration form for the learning laboratory component of the class.

If I am taking a class for educational credit, do I need to send payment to East Coast EdVentures?

No, if you are taking the class for educational credit at MassBay Community College, please do not send any payment to East Coast EdVentures. Instead, you will be asked to make payment to MassBay, in full, at the time you register (credit cards are accepted).

If you are taking the class at Manhattanville College, you will be asked to make payment to the college for the classroom component and an additional payment to East Coast EdVentures for the learning laboratory component.
