Magical Winter Carnival

Highlights:

  • Depart Riverside T-station, Newton, MA at 2:30 p.m. on Friday

  • Enjoy beautiful Quebec City for an intensely festive  weekend of the Winter Carnival. www.carnaval.qc.ca

  • Experience the European flair of North America's oldest city with its maze of ancient streets, quaint boutiques and restaurants.  The nightlife is famous with many hopping nightclubs. (legal age 19)

  • Tour Old Quebec City with an experienced local guide.

  • Side trip to the famous Ice Hotel  www.icehotel-canada.com/en/index.en.php (entrance fee additional)

  • Enjoy an afternoon of free time to see the city sites... toboggan by the Chateau Frontenac, ice skate, shop along the waterfront or visit the outdoor artisan market.

  • Some of the activities planned for this years carnival are the Snow Bath, Swiss Culinary Festival, night parades, snow tube runs, concerts, as well as the many Snow and Ice Sculptures, dogsled rides and skating.

  • Leave midday Sunday and arrive Riverside T-station, Newton, MA at approximately 10:00 p.m. on Sunday.
